Laser Operator - Hendersonville - 1st Shift - Up to $20.00/hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for a Laser Operator for 1st Shift for a manufacturing company located inHendersonville.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hard worker with a positive attitude!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform typical laser cutting operations. Defers to the Shop foreman with regards to job sequence, normally due date.
• Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures.
• Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Perform prescribed maintenance as required.
• Perform all dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• May work at different workstations as production needs require.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED
• Minimum of two years laser operating experience
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail

Hours of Work: Monday through Thursday; 6 AM - 4:30 PM

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
