Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Tube Laser Operator for our 3rd Shift operations.

Primary Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Load material at machine
2. Read and have a basic understanding of mechanical drawings
3. Upload and run programs from the machine controller
4. Perform preventative maintenance schedules
5. Proficient in first article, in-process, and final inspections of parts
6. Work with management to ensure finished products are produced safely, efficiently, with quality, and on time
7. Deburr parts as required
8. Package parts per customer requirements
9. Monitor equipment, tools, and consumables wear and request external maintenance when needed
10. Operate forklift and overhead crane as required
11. Ability to run Trumpf equipment is a plus
12. Basic programming skills are a plus
13. Experience with other fabrication equipment is a plus
14. Willing to train candidates with previous flat laser, plasma, waterjet, or machining experience
