nVent is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Laser Operator in Oshkosh, WI to set up, operate, and monitor Amada laser/punch equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will inspect products, adjust tooling, load/unload materials, and collaborate with leads to meet quality standards while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, some manufacturing experience, and a drive to learn and improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment to ensure quality products are made efficiently.
• Inspect products and adjust tooling as needed.
• Load and unload material from the machine.
• Communicate issues to Lead or Supervisor.
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Maintain high-quality standards and safety practices.
• Adapt to changes and collaborate with team to meet goals.
• Work independently and as part of a team to improve processes.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and dispose of scrap properly.
