Job summary

nVent is seeking an experienced fabrication technician to set up and operate laser systems, NC/CNC presses, and cutting machines. You will use CAM/ERP tools to guide the initial fabrication phase and ensure parts meet specifications.

You will collaborate with maintenance and production teams, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and uphold safety and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year CNC manufacturing equipment experience preferred.
• 3+ years production work experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards and Radan preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate laser systems and CNC presses per documentation.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Inspect and verify dimensions per blueprints and print specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting.
