Aerotek in Wisconsin is seeking a Laser Operator to set up and operate turret and laser equipment, ensuring parts meet exact specifications and quality standards. The role requires holding exact tolerances and coordinating with the Fabrication Manager to achieve precise cuts.

The position includes blueprint reading, tooling setup, lens cleaning, material handling, and workload-based tasks such as deburring and press brake operations.

Formación

• 1-3 years of experience in laser operation, Amada preferred.
• Experience in laser setup.
• 2+ years of blueprint reading and precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Proficiency in fabrication and press brake operations.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate turret/laser equipment to meet quality requirements.
• Identify, load, and unload raw materials using manual lifts, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
• Assemble and disassemble turret tooling correctly and sharpen tooling.
• Perform nozzle alignment and focus lens cleaning.
• Conduct laser/punch zero coupon tasks before shift starts.
• Set up and operate automated sheet loader.
• Perform height calibration and focus lens adjustments.
• Fully operate and set up EMLK correctly.
• Verify quality from other operators and conduct process verification in ERP.
• Flex between tasks including shakeout, deburring, hardware insertion, and press brake operations based on workload.
• Adhere to all safety policies and maintain an organized workplace through good housekeeping.
