Leonardo Electronics US Inc. in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Production Test Engineer to support new product development, production test development, and sustaining.

You will troubleshoot line issues, determine root causes, and drive improvements in test processes while coordinating with R&D to transfer new products to manufacturing. The role requires hands-on test program development (LabVIEW, C, .NET, Visual Basic, Matlab or SQL), documentation of specs, SPC charting, and participation in ISO/AS

Qualifications

• 2–5 years direct experience with manufacturing and characterizing high power laser diodes.
• Lean Six Sigma training and ability to lead a process improvement team.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL/MS Access and programming in LabVIEW, C, .NET, Visual Basic, Matlab or SQL.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain production test processes and equipment for products produced.
• Support the production testing of electronic assemblies.
• Create and maintain necessary documentation for product specifications and testing.
• Reviews and monitors processes and makes recommendations for improvements; setup SPC charts.
• Engineer test methodology, procedures and equipment for high power laser diodes and related assemblies.
• Lead ATP and DVQT on new and existing products, including test plans and reporting.
