Job summary

You will act as the primary technical interface for customers, suppliers, and internal teams, owning design, performance, quality, and cost improvements. Responsibilities include serving as main technical contact, configuring products, reviewing changes, driving roadmaps, supporting failure analysis, and reporting status to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Five+ years of laser or semiconductor experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Data-driven decision making and problem solving.
• Self-motivated leader who can work with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Act as main tech contact for assigned products across customers and teams.
• Define product specs, BOMs, tests, and documentation.
• Review changes to maintain performance, quality, and manufacturability.
• Drive product roadmaps and manage qualification, pilot builds, and ramp.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for failures.
• Monitor yields and costs; contribute to pricing and margin analysis.
• Present technical updates to customers and management.
• Travel to customers, vendors, and conferences as needed.
