Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. seeks a Laser Customer Support Technician to train operators on Mitsubishi Lasers and troubleshoot issues at customer sites. Travel to client locations and perform alignment, software testing, and process improvements.

Responsibilities include on-site support, classroom training, and preparing manuals or projects for educational purposes in a lab environment. Prior laser setup experience preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree preferred.
• 3 years of set up and operation of lasers in a job shop environment.
• Familiarity with circuit repair and NC programming systems such as MasterCam, AutoCAD, ESPIRIT and/or experience in industrial machine repair is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up and verify machine installations/alignments.
• Provide customer support via telephone on application and operation issues.
• Solving machine problems at customer sites to improve performance of Laser machinery.
• High power process training to customers in classroom and field.
• Phone support to customers and service personnel as needed.
• System Software testing, and duplication; perform proving tests on newly received machine system software and manufacture duplicates for stock.
• Technical Writing; develop training manuals, workbooks and sample projects for classroom use.
