Jobot is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced laser and scanning systems at customer sites across North America. This remote‑friendly, travel‑heavy role requires hands‑on expertise in electromechanical systems, industrial automation, and field troubleshooting, with training in France to become fully qualified on our technology.

You will read complex schematics, diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC related issues,

Competenze

5+ years of experience in Field Service or Industrial Maintenance.
Strong electromechanical and automation troubleshooting skills.
Excellent ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
PLC troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming a plus.
Ability to travel 50–75% across the USA.

Mansioni

Install, commission, and start up advanced laser and scanning systems.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
Perform PLC troubleshooting and diagnose automation-related issues.
Travel approximately 50–75% throughout the USA.
Provide technical support to customers and collaborate with global engineering teams.
Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate service records.
Configure system software and verify equipment performance and measurement accuracy.
