Job summary

MC Machinery Systems - USA is seeking a Field Service Technologist to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Mitsubishi CNC laser systems remotely within the U.S. with travel to customer sites.

You will perform detailed inspections, alignments, and system adjustments, and provide remote support to maintain uptime. The role requires hands-on experience with machining or industrial equipment, ability to read schematics, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience with machining, manufacturing processes, or industrial equipment service.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Comfort with Windows-based computers and service applications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Availability for extensive Monday–Friday travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Mitsubishi laser cutting systems on-site.
• Perform detailed inspections, dismantling, rebuilding, alignment, and system adjustments.
• Provide remote phone support to speed up customer uptime.
• Read schematics and document service findings and expenses promptly.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and service vehicles to high standards.
• Travel regionally with potential nationwide assignments.
