Job summary

Masa, based in the South Bronx, seeks a proactive Program Manager to lead the Language Justice Program. This full-time, in-person role (40 hrs/week) runs through June 30, 2027 with potential extension, supporting staff, interpreters, and accountability protocols.

You will oversee interpreter training, develop a language worker cooperative, and manage the Community Interpreter Program, including outreach, enrollment, and coordination with consultants.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English, both verbal and written.
• Minimum 2+ years of program management experience.
• Master’s degree preferred or a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in community outreach or related roles with immigrant communities.
• Ability to guide and mentor 3 direct reports.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day activities of the Language Justice program and ensure trainings and outreach are coordinated.
• Track progress on deliverables and troubleshoot operational challenges.
• Maintain SOPs for internal and external communications to ensure consistency and accessibility.
• Coordinate with Executive Director on strategy, work plans, reporting, and budget needs.
• Lead outreach, recruitment, enrollment of interpreter training cohorts, and support cooperative development.
• Provide mentorship to 3 program staff and supervise team.
