Job summary

Level Green Landscaping is hiring a Landscaping Account Manager to lead a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts in the DC/MD/VA metro area, including Howard County. You will be the primary contact for clients, nurture relationships, and work with operations to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires at least two years in landscaping and two years in account management, strong communication, CRM proficiency, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years of landscaping and/or grounds maintenance experience.
• Two years of account management or customer service experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States with a valid US driver's license.
• Knowledge of native plants in DC/MD/VA area is a plus.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact, building long-lasting relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of landscape maintenance accounts.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Proactively advise on site enhancements and sales opportunities.

• Conduct site walkthroughs to ensure quality standards are met.
• Resolve client concerns promptly to ensure contract renewal.
• Assist Business Development with opportunities within existing accounts.
• Support snow and ice management operations as needed.

Your responsibilities as a Landscaping Account Manager include, but are not limited to

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining long-lasting relationships while exceeding client expectations with exceptional service.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of landscape maintenance accounts
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Proactively advise clients on potential site enhancements and propose work to achieve sales goals.
• Proactively communicate with decision-makers and influencers, internally and externally, reflecting our commitment to integrity and transparency.
• Perform site walkthroughs with clients to ensure that quality and service expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
• Facilitate the resolution of client concerns promptly and professionally to ensure contract renewal and retention of existing customers, upholding our core value of doing the right thing in every interaction.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Team to identify additional opportunities within existing client accounts and assist with accurate estimates for new projects.
• Manage client communications during winter weather events and assist with on-site snow removal operations as part of our comprehensive snow &ice management services.

You may be a good fit if you

• Have experience in landscaping and/or grounds maintenance of at least two (2) years
• Have a minimum of two (2) years of account management customer service experience
• MUST be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid US government state-issued driver's license
• Have sufficient knowledge of native plants in the DC/Maryland/Virginia metropolitan area
• At least 21 years of age; can work Saturdays and in inclement weather (required)
• Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
• Have sales experience in landscaping, ground maintenance, or related industry that works closely with property management and the world of commercial real estate. Minimum of two years experience
• Experience interacting with and selling to senior-level managers in commercial real estate or related industries
• Above-average proficiency with computer operational skills and CRM systems
• Articulate in both written and verbal communication skills
• Able to manage time and workload effectively and autonomously.

Salary: $65,000-$90,000 annually (based on experience)
