Job summary

Franklin Brothers Landscaping, a family-owned Indianapolis paving and landscape company, seeks an Operations Manager to lead field crews across maintenance, installation, and snow & ice management. You will own dispatch, shop standards, and crew development, with clear access to ownership and authority to fix issues in real time.

The role involves roughly an 80/20 split between jobsites and the office, requiring ownership mindset and a willingness to grow with the company.

Qualifications

3+ years leading crews in landscaping, construction, or field-service.
Experience running multiple crews and job sites simultaneously.
Proficient with heavy equipment, trucks/trailers, and basic repairs.
Strong communicator who leads by example with crews, clients, and office staff.
Willing to use AI tools in daily workflows.
Spanish language is a plus, not required.
Available for snow/ice events, including overnight calls.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Lead field operations by example and ensure quality across sites.
Coordinate job scheduling with the office and monitor progress to completion.
Oversee snow and ice contracts, brining, and storm response readiness.
Build and maintain shop standards to reduce non-billable hours and extend equipment life.
