Qualifications

• Five or more years of landscaping experience in maintenance and installation.
• Skilled in operating skid steers, mini excavators, and similar equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance and light repairs.
• Self-directed, problem-solver in the field.
• Ability to lead by example and direct crew members.
• Comfort with using a smartphone app to view job details and log time.
• Willingness to work snow and ice events, including overnight/weekend callouts.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Visit jobsites daily to support crews, check progress, and solve problems before they slow the job down.
• Fill in on crews during absences or heavy weeks across maintenance, installation, and hardscape work.
• Operate skid steers, mini excavators, and other heavy equipment on installation and construction jobs.
• Drive trucks and trailers to deliver materials, equipment, and crew members to jobsites.
• Load, haul, and stage materials so crews arrive to a ready jobsite.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe to the standards set by the Operations Manager.
• Prep equipment for daily dispatch, including charging our battery-electric fleet and stocking trucks.
• Handle routine equipment maintenance, light repairs, and troubleshooting, and flag bigger repairs early.
• Track tools, parts, and materials in the shop and flag reorders before anything runs out.
• Follow and reinforce our field and shop SOPs so every crew works the same way.
• Plow, salt, and apply brine across our commercial sites.
• Help produce brine and keep salt and materials staged ahead of every event.
• Prep, stage, fuel, and maintain snow equipment for full storm response.
• Respond to overnight and weekend callouts throughout the season.
