Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Landscaper I to support maintenance of industrial, commercial, and public properties. You will perform basic landscaping tasks under supervision, operate commercial equipment safely, and assist with plant material upkeep.

You will cut turf, prune shrubs, plant beds, mulch, weed, and help maintain equipment. The role requires being 18+, dependable, physically capable of lifting 40 lbs, and willingness to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate power equipment.
• Certified on level 1 landscaping equipment.
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim, edge, and operate a blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape or remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along walkways and beds.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment to extend life.
• Maintain a polite demeanor with guests and customers.
• Report safety concerns to the Crew Leader.
