Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance for commercial and public properties. This role involves basic landscaping tasks under supervision, operating commercial equipment safely, and assisting with plant material upkeep.

Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and debris cleanup while maintaining customer-friendly conduct on site. The position is full-time and requires outdoor work, weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and reliable.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment: backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower.
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with mowers, trim, and edge; operate gas-powered blower.
• Prune shrubs to maintain shape and health.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger/line trimmer along various areas.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
• Maintain equipment through basic preventative care.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
