Job description

The Landscape Maintenance Division Manager provides leadership, planning, and communication for the maintenance division. The two primary goals of this role are:

  • Mentoring Team Leaders and overseeing crews/production teams
  • Help grow the maintenance division while maintaining high-quality client service

This position works closely with Account Managers and Team Leaders and requires routine communication with both commercial and residential clients to support quality control and property requests. Experience with LMN or similar landscape management software, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, is required. Strong initiative, organization, leadership, and communication skills are essential for team development and operational growth.

This role is ideal for a high-energy leader with a positive attitude and a passion for developing teams and delivering exceptional service.

Position Overview

The Landscape Maintenance Division Manager is part of the leadership team and oversees all production functions within the maintenance division.

Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the President
  • Lead up to 12 production teams consisting of 2–4 crew members each
  • Participate in daily morning operations to ensure crews depart efficiently and on schedule
  • Manage and schedule labor, equipment, and materials to meet production goals within budget
  • Train and develop Team Leaders in maintenance best practices and operational standards
  • Communicate with clients and proactively monitor quality control
  • Assist with implementing and overseeing training programs, including:
  • Technical pruning
  • Turf maintenance
  • Diagnosing and communicating plant and turf disease concerns
  • Enforce safety procedures and workplace policies
  • Address safety concerns and communicate resolution plans to leadership
  • Identify and sell small enhancement opportunities and coordinate larger projects with the enhancement team
  • Promote efficiency and organization across client properties, facilities, vehicles, warehouse, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate client property records, measurements, and landscape updates
