Bland Landscaping Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Landscape Enhancement Installation Crew Leader to supervise on-site projects, read blueprints, and ensure installations meet Bland Landscaping standards.

The role combines hands-on leadership with project coordination, safety compliance, and mentoring a crew through planting, irrigation, and hardscape work, with strong emphasis on quality and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record in landscape installation and crew management.
• Licensing: Valid NC Driver's License with clean driving record; NC Pesticide Applicator's license preferred.
• Technical: Read job plans, adjust irrigation controllers, operate landscape machinery safely.
• Physical: Lift up to 50 lbs, work in all weather conditions.
• Background: Pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate installation crews; promote safety and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specs to install plantings, lawns, irrigation, and hardscapes.
• Schedule daily work assignments, coordinate equipment and materials, manage start-up/shut-down procedures.
• Lead by example in digging, tilling, planting and heavy material handling.
• Ensure truck/trailer standardization, maintain equipment, and oversee safe operation of vehicles.
• Submit daily timesheets (BOSS), track project hours, and communicate with Production Managers.
