Job summary

Addison Group in Oceanside, NY is seeking a driven Business Developer to grow our landscape installation and construction book of business across a defined territory. This newly created role offers the chance to build a program from the ground up with strong leadership support.

You will develop opportunities with developers, GC's, and property managers, manage a healthy pipeline, and close contracts while collaborating with operations and estimating teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven B2B outside sales success in construction, landscape installation, property/ facility management or related services.
• Strong sales, negotiation and presentation skills with a track record of closing commercial contracts.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and cold outreach.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of installation opportunities beyond the maintenance book.
• Develop customized proposals and presentations that address client needs and highlight value.
• Negotiate and close contracts in line with pricing standards and profitability goals.
• Represent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagements.
• Maintain accurate pipeline records and sales activity in Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations and project management on accurate proposals.
