Aerotek in Mobile, AL is seeking an experienced Landscape Crew Lead to supervise a commercial landscape maintenance crew. You will coordinate daily tasks, uphold company standards, and ensure customer properties remain clean, healthy, and visually appealing.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on site management, and safe operation of mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other equipment. You will train crew members, manage schedules, and communicate progress with management throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew, providing direction, training, and support throughout the workday.
• Review, prioritize, and manage daily work lists to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, and general grounds maintenance services.
• Ensure all commercial properties meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
• Coordinate crew activities, assign responsibilities, and monitor productivity on job sites.
• Safely operate and oversee the use of landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other power tools.
• Identify and address landscaping issues, making recommendations for property improvements when needed.
• Assist with landscape enhancement projects, including plant installations, irrigation repairs, sod installation, and seasonal cleanup.
• Conduct daily equipment and vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures while promoting a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with management, customers, and crew members regarding job progress and site needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mobile, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
