Job summary

Ruppert Landscape seeks an Assistant Field Manager in landscape maintenance to support the Field Manager by coordinating labor and materials for contract tasks and snow removal. You will mentor the team and ensure work is completed within budgeted hours and contracted scopes.

The role involves supervising daily production, understanding job budgets, and maintaining equipment. A driver’s license and prior field management experience are required, with a focus on quality and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill and ability to manage others.
• Demonstrated skill and ability to work with service customers.
• At least one year of experience doing contract maintenance work in a commercial setting.
• Two or four-year horticultural or related degrees and two years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts.
• Develop understanding of budgets for hours and costs and communicate them to crewmembers.
• Monitor quality of work and report issues to the customer.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good condition.
