Job summary
Ruppert Landscape is seeking an Assistant Field Manager for Landscape Maintenance to support the Field Manager in labor and material management on contract maintenance and snow removal projects. You will help develop the people reporting to you and ensure work is completed within budgeted hours and contracts are renewed.
This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and customer communication. A valid driver’s license is required.
Qualifications
- Experience managing others in a field environment.
- Experience with contract maintenance work.
- Ability to train and develop staff.
- Knowledge of budgets, hours tracking, and costs.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
Responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of branch philosophies, goals, and finances.
- Get to know their team and help them develop within the company.
- Attend or conduct certification training regularly.
- Plan, schedule and supervise daily production on contracts.
- Understand and monitor budgets and communicate hours to crew.
- Ensure quality by inspecting work and addressing issues with the customer.
- Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good condition.
