Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Maintenance seeks an Assistant Field Manager to support Field Manager in delivering contract maintenance and snow removal projects. You will develop team members, supervise daily production, and ensure work aligns with budgets and quality standards.

The role emphasizes safety, customer communication, and efficient operation. The candidate should have experience managing teams, industry knowledge in landscape maintenance, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience managing others and working with service customers.
• At least 1 year of contract maintenance experience in a commercial setting.
• Two-year or four-year horticulture-related degree with two years of industry experience.
• Ability to identify and schedule treatments for insect and disease problems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts.
• Develop an understanding of budgets for hours and costs; monitor and communicate budget hours to crewmembers.
• Inspect job quality and proactively address issues with the customer.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good working order.
• Develop the people reporting to you and foster their growth.
