Landscaping by J. Michael is seeking an experienced Landscape / Construction Estimator to join our team in Marshfield, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will play a key role in winning new work by identifying opportunities and building accurate estimates.

This role involves reviewing plans, preparing project breakdowns, and collaborating with internal teams and clients. Candidates should have strong estimating experience and proficiency with relevant software. We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in landscape construction, site work, or general construction.
• Strong proficiency with CAD and other construction/design software.
• Solid understanding of landscape construction and site work, asphalt paving, and concrete.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and pursuing bidding opportunities to support company growth.
• Reviewing plans to develop detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Preparing project cost breakdowns and presenting them to teams.

Skills

Estimating experience in landscape construction

Proficiency with CAD

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Strong knowledge of construction scheduling

Familiarity with construction codes

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
