Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a Landscape Construction Crew Member to join our Minnesota team. This hands-on role involves installing outdoor environments for residential, commercial, and municipal clients and requires pride in quality work and teamwork.

You will assist with landscape construction, site preparation, and hardscape installation while following project plans and safety guidelines. A valid driver’s license is required and prior outdoor construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding outdoor work in Minnesota weather.
• Able to lift, carry and move 50 lbs+ materials throughout the day.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape construction and installation projects from start to finish.
• Prepare job sites, including grading, excavation, soil preparation and material placement.
• Install trees, shrubs, plants, mulch, edging and other landscape materials.
• Assist with installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls and other hardscape features.
• Operate hand tools and small equipment safely and effectively.
• Load, unload and move soil, rock, mulch, plants and construction materials.
• Assist with drainage, irrigation and other landscape installation projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site.
• Follow project plans, specifications and direction from the Crew Leader.
• Work safely around heavy equipment and moving machinery.
• Provide a professional experience for customers and coworkers.

We’re looking for a Landscape Construction Crew Member who takes pride in quality work, enjoys working as part of a team, and is ready to learn and grow in the landscape construction industry.

This is a hands‑on position where no two days are exactly alike. You’ll work alongside an experienced crew installing and building outdoor environments for residential, commercial, and municipal customers.

What You’ll Do

• Previous landscape construction, hardscape, excavation or outdoor construction experience is preferred
• Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, compactors or other equipment is a plus
