Thomas Young Group in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Landscape Architect to lead the established Landscape Architecture Studio. The role blends design leadership with business development and team growth to shape the practice’s future.

You will guide project delivery, win new work, mentor staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture.
• 10+ years of professional landscape architecture experience.
• Professional Landscape Architect registration or licensure.
• Proven success in business development and winning new work.
• Strong leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness and a collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Landscape Architecture Studio, creating a collaborative and high-performing team culture
• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients while supporting business development initiatives
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring high standards of quality, profitability, and client satisfaction
• Recruit, mentor, and develop landscape architects and project teams
• Lead proposals, presentations, and bids for new project opportunities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions
• Manage external consultants and project partners where required
• Support the continued growth and strategic direction of the studio
