Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, consultants, and staff.
- Design, develop, modify, and review drawings and specifications for landscape architecture, municipal, and land development projects; oversee fieldwork and construction.
- Assist in preparing and quality controlling plans, specifications, and permit documents.
- Provide technical information to Project Managers for project specifications.
- Perform plan drafting using CADD software.
- Develop solutions to technical and design problems.
- Maintain compliance with relevant rules and codes.
- Obtain permits as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and public hearings.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Experience
- Rendering/Presentation skills: Sketch-up, Adobe Suite, Land FX, Hand drawing
- Software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D
- Design expertise: Grading, Stormwater Management, Utilities, Master Planning
- Permitting and Construction Inspection
- Plan Production: Setup, Sheet Preparation, Redline Revisions
- 3D modeling, ADA compliance, Quantity Takeoffs
This Opportunity Requires
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
License/Certification
- Professional Landscape Architect license
- LEED certification (preferred)
- AICP certification (a bonus)
