Interior Design Architect who can also provide
studio-level operational support. This is a key role for someone with a strong architectural foundation, a passion for interior design, and the organizational skills to help streamline a high-performing design practice.
This position is ideal for a mid- to senior-level design professional based in Latin America who can work independently while supporting the studio's evolving needs across multiple projects in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities- Interior Design Focus: Conceptualize and develop innovative interior design solutions that integrate with architectural elements across residential and commercial projects.
- Feasibility Studies: Support early-stage feasibility efforts; understand zoning, setbacks, and basic regulatory constraints in various U.S. markets.
- Studio Operations: Assist with organizing and tracking project documentation, managing schedules, and maintaining design workflow systems.
- Technical Drafting: Produce detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and rendering tools (e.g., Lumion or V-Ray).
- Material Research & Selection: Identify and recommend materials, furnishings, and finishes aligned with project goals and client expectations.
- Client & Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- U.S. Market Familiarity: Learn and apply U.S. market standards and practices; flexibility to adapt to a learning curve if needed.
What We're Looking For- Experience: 5-10 years of architectural and interior design experience, with relevant U.S. project exposure preferred.
- Skillset: Strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and ability to support both creative and operational functions.
- Portfolio: A compelling portfolio that showcases both design excellence and technical precision in interior and architectural projects.
- Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and rendering tools like V-Ray or Lumion.
- Communication: Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Self-Starter: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing responsibilities without daily oversight.
