Job summary

HOM, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks a Landlord Supports Specialist to onboard property owners, verify ownership docs, and keep records in Padmission Journey and Padmission Connect.

You will serve as the main contact for property partners, providing technical assistance and coordinating updates to ensure timely rental assistance payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage high volumes of documentation, and a commitment to HOM's mission to end homelessness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, human services, public administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years in housing-related roles such as landlord engagement, affordable housing programs, or customer-facing support.
• Minimum of five years in residential operations or property management, specifically overseeing property and cost assessment.
• Knowledge of LAHSA programs or landlord incentives desirable.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Guide onboarding of new property owners/managers, including documentation submission and program orientation.
• Verify ownership details against assessor databases and review property management agreements.
• Provide technical support to owners/managers using Padmission Connect for updating listings, contact info, and vacancies.
• Maintain ongoing communication with property partners to support participation and inquiries about platform use and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and facilitate compliant updates for payment readiness.
• Attend outreach events or meetings to promote engagement and system literacy.
