Job summary

Republic Services in Fresno, TX is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Landfill to lead a team of Lead Operators, Operators and Laborers, ensure fill sequencing and density goals, and maintain permit compliance while coordinating with the Operations Manager to drive safety, efficiency and customer experience.

You will champion safety programs, oversee maintenance collaboration, manage labor hours and disposal costs, develop talent, and uphold ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Lead safety goals, remove unsafe conditions, partner with maintenance to ensure equipment safety, oversee safety programs, engage employees to foster safety culture.
• Customer Experience: Deliver service meeting customer expectations, communicate changes and requests promptly, interact with customers to resolve issues, represent the company to drive satisfaction.
• Efficiency: Set productivity goals, manage labor hours and disposal costs, execute plans to meet division budgets, support service delivery and fleet maintenance.
• Employee Engagement: Foster a collaborative team environment, develop talent and coach for advancement, perform other duties as needed.
• Compliance & Leadership: Uphold ethics and regulatory standards, drive culture of engagement and accountability.
