Republic Services, Inc. is seeking an Operator - Heavy Equipment to safely operate equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station, performing loading, spreading, covering and compacting of waste or soil.

The role focuses on safe, efficient operations and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities include pre/post operation inspections, monitoring for unacceptable waste, completing equipment reports, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following all safety procedures.

Formación

• Two years of prior related experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of equipment per policy.
• Safely operate forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader and other equipment.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and ensure safe operation.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and report repairs as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe shop and follow safety policies.
