Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator in Spencer, Oklahoma. You will operate equipment to bale and load waste, perform daily inspections, and ensure safe, efficient operations on site.

You will also contribute to routine maintenance, communicate with the field and office, and support a safe work environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Certification if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired, but not required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to bale and load waste or material into trailers.
• Perform inspections and daily maintenance checks on equipment.
• Grease and lubricate equipment, check fluids daily.
• Steer, guide and operate equipment at assigned site.
• Substitute for another operator as needed.
• Clean tracks and gear mechanisms daily or as required.
• Communicate via two-way radio regarding work activities and priorities.
• Comply with laws, regulations and company policies.
