We are currently seeking a full-time Land Surveyor to join our dynamic surveying team in our Allentown Office. Whether you're just starting out or building on a few years of experience, this role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys while learning from some of the best in the field.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting field surveys for boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built projects.
  • Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS units, levels, and data collectors.
  • Collect and accurately record field data, including measurements, angles, distances, and elevations.
  • Set up, calibrate, and take down survey equipment safely and correctly.
  • Maintain organized and accurate field notes and records.
  • Assist in preparing survey maps, plats, and CAD drawings (AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred).
  • Perform basic land surveying calculations such as leveling, traversing, and coordinate geometry.
  • Assist with staking property boundaries and construction sites based on survey data.
  • Research land records, deeds, maps, and related documents to support survey work.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. (Associate degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.)
  • Experience in land surveying or related fieldwork.
  • Proficiency with surveying equipment (total stations, GPS units, levels, data collectors).
  • Basic understanding of land surveying principles and construction fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with boundary and topographic surveying.
  • Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to accurately interpret survey data, maps, and legal descriptions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and professional client interaction skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with technical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Carlson and ServePro software is a plus.
  • Basic experience with survey equipment and familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
