Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor for a Quality Improvement Consulting Company, supporting internal and external customers nationwide in a technically engaging environment.

Responsibilities of the RN Health Care Facility Surveyor:

The position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel. The Surveyor will serve as a team member or leader on various surveys (re-certification, comparative, complaint investigation, revisits) across long-term care and other healthcare settings, including ambulatory surgical centers, ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRTF, hospitals, critical access hospitals, and hospices. The role involves conducting surveys to assess compliance with federal requirements and regulations, applying approved protocols, and evaluating aspects of healthcare quality and safety.

• Conduct on-site surveys to determine compliance with federal regulations
• Prepare and conduct surveys including facility tours, care observations, record reviews, and staff/family interviews
• Assess various facets of healthcare facilities, from quality of care to physical environment
• Communicate deficiencies and findings effectively during site reviews and exit conferences
• Evaluate correction plans and conduct follow-ups to ensure compliance
• Assist with training and participate in work groups as needed

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the SMQT
• At least two years of recent surveyor experience in long-term care facilities
• Current RN licensure
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage survey processes
• Strong organizational and conflict resolution skills
• Willingness to travel up to 75% regularly
