Job Description:

The Surveyor must be willing to relocate to Kwajalein Island, Marshall Islands, for a long-term assignment. This position is not remote or hybrid.

Parsons is seeking a talented Surveyor to join our team!

Position Overview:

The Surveyor surveys land surfaces and provides technical guidance to the survey crew. Work may include climbing ladders, scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, uneven surfaces, and in confined spaces.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Survey land surfaces to determine precise locations, measurements of lines, areas, contours, elevations, angles, and points for various purposes (e.g., titles, land division, mapmaking). Accurately record survey data, notes, records, and sketches.
2. Provide technical guidance to the survey crew.
3. Perform other related responsibilities as appropriate.

Supervision Received: Construction Superintendent

Supervision Given: Survey Crew Members (technical guidance only)

Internal Contacts: All project employees

External Contacts: Clients

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, typically 15+ years.
• Licensed Land Surveyor preferred but not required.

Skills and Competencies:

Requires knowledge of surveying and construction processes, current industry practices, and proficiency with CAD and related software. Must be skilled in reading blueprints and performing calculations. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Valid US passport.
