Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Land Survey Technician to support its expanding Surveying & Engineering division. This role assists with land surveying projects through map drafting, field data processing, legal descriptions, and survey calculations, collaborating with survey leadership, engineering teams, and field crews across the region.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of CAD experience in office and field surveying, and familiarity with processing field data, topographic and boundary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CAD experience in office and field land surveying.
• Experience with processing field data and preparing surveys.
• Familiarity with horizontal/vertical alignments, construction staking, metes and bounds descriptions, and survey calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with land surveying projects through map drafting and survey calculations.
• Process field data, prepare topographic and boundary surveys, and write metes and bounds descriptions.
