Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Land Survey Technician to support its expanding Surveying & Engineering division. This role assists with land surveying projects through map drafting, field data processing, legal descriptions, and survey calculations, collaborating with survey leadership, engineering teams, and field crews across the region.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of CAD experience in office and field surveying, and familiarity with processing field data, topographic and boundary

Qualifications

• Experience with processing field data and preparing surveys.
• Familiarity with horizontal/vertical alignments, construction staking, metes and bounds descriptions, and survey calculations.

This role is responsible for assisting with land surveying projects through map drafting, survey calculations, legal descriptions, field data processing, and research. The technician will work closely with survey leadership, engineering teams, and field crews to support utility and infrastructure projects throughout the region.
