Job summary

Percheron LLC is seeking a GIS Administrator assigned to one or more projects focused on oil & gas leasing and solar operations. The role requires understanding project requirements, timelines, and delivering geospatial data with minimal supervision.

You will digitize data, create maps, develop routes, and manage data delivery from internal systems. The position emphasizes independent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines in an office environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and organize workload under changing priorities and pressure.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Database experience and ability to learn NSite and client databases.
• Autonomous work style with teamwork as needed.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and ensure regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Digitizing geographic data and creating professional maps.
• Develop routes, identify structures, permits, and encroachments.
• Enter data and update project databases.
• Create data deliverables (KMZs, shapes, geodatabase, reports).
• Produce standard spatial outputs and perform common GIS analyses.
• Collaborate with GIS technicians and interface with field operations as needed.
• Meet project deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
