Job summary

Portland General Electric is seeking an experienced GIS Supervisor to lead the data management function within its GIS team. The role focuses on maintaining the integrity of geospatial data, overseeing analysts and technicians, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have extensive ESRI ArcGIS experience (ArcGIS Desktop/Pro) and ArcFM, with preference for Maximo and Quickbase familiarity.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, engineering, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years in GIS; electric utility experience preferred.
• Extensive experience with ESRI software (ArcGIS Desktop/Pro) and ArcFM; experience with Maximo and Quickbase preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teams responsible for as-planned and as-built mapping, data maintenance, and QA/QC activities.
• Develops data quality metrics and SLAs for geospatial data; creates dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Lead process improvements and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align GIS initiatives with business objectives.
