Job summary

The GIS Analyst role requires strong ArcGIS proficiency, data organization, and the ability to assess title documents and boundary correspondences to ensure compliant lease status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS is strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of GIS experience in oil and gas context preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop GIS solutions, build maps, and compare historical data against tax parcel IDs.
• Organize and manage PLM client and confidential databases.
• Assist Landmen and Project Managers with updates from title research and lease acquisitions.
• Review title documents to assess real property boundaries.
• Create KMZ files or equivalents for satellite imagery to guide leasehold or acreage positions.
