Job summary

You will digitize geographic data, create professional maps, plot legal descriptions, perform spatial analyses, and collaborate with field teams while meeting project deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and basic data handling.
• Database experience with NSite and client databases; team-oriented and autonomous.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Digitizing geographic data from hardcopy or scanned images into vector data.
• Create professional maps from preliminary data for projects.
• Develop routes based on desktop review and identify structures, encroachments, permits, etc.
• Data entry/records updates into the Percheron project database.
• Plot legal descriptions and boundaries; perform spatial analyses (buffering, intersects, selections).
• Collaborate with GIS Tech 1 and interface with field operations as needed.
• Work under deadlines with minimal supervision and adapt to multiple projects simultaneously.
