Job summary

McClure Engineering Company is seeking a Land Development Staff Engineer to lead dynamic projects and promote the firm's values. The role requires applying civil engineering principles, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with codes.

You will collaborate with project teams and clients to translate concepts into final designs, oversee QA/QC, and deliver high-quality plan sets on schedule. A bachelor’s in civil engineering and EIT or licensure progress within 12 months are expected,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Engineer in Training recognition required (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• 5 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Manager or Team Leader to proactively solve problems and manage project design issues
• Actively work with the team to ensure a high level of client satisfaction
• Implementation of the QA/QC process to ensure high-quality engineering solutions and plan sets
• Challenges the team to develop innovative alternative solutions to meet the clients' needs
• Strong understanding of team's technical engineering expertise
• Ability to build trust, manage workload, and achieve team and corporate goals
• Be able to work autonomous as well as in a collaborative team environment
