Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a skilled Project Planner (Land Development) to manage client liaison, site planning, and due diligence for private land development projects. You will coordinate documents, staff reports, and hearings while interfacing with civil engineers, architects, and environmental consultants.

The role supports a hybrid work environment out of Core States Group offices across the US, focusing on delivering timely permits and high-quality plans for retail and mixed-use

Qualifications

• 4+ years of land development experience with retail clients.
• Experience with due diligence, site planning, land use entitlements, environmental review, and permitting.
• Collaboration across civil, architectural, landscape, surveying, traffic engineering and environmental teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison with clients & agencies through clear communication and representation.
• Conduct due diligence investigations and refine site plans.
• Prepare and process land use applications and submittals.
• Coordinate acquisition of documents and studies (surveys, traffic, environmental reports).
• Coordinate processing and approval of construction permit applications.
• Track deliverables using standard forms and procedures.
• Prepare and administer contracts as necessary.
