Job summary

Core States Group in the United States is seeking a Project Planner (Land Development) to join our team. You will work with clients, manage projects, and coordinate private land development efforts with multiple disciplines.

This hybrid role offers exposure to due diligence, site planning, entitlements, and construction permitting, with a collaborative culture that emphasizes integrity, service, and innovation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working in land development with retail clients.
• College degree or technical certification in land use planning, real estate, environmental consulting, engineering, construction, or related field.
• Experience with due diligence, site planning, land use entitlements, environmental review, construction permitting.
• Experience working with multiple disciplines including civil engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, land surveying, traffic engineering, and environmental consulting.
• Ability to prioritize a diverse workload, meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication and public speaking proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to identify practical uses for company-approved AI tools to improve team processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison with clients & agencies through clear communication & representation
• Conduct due diligence investigations, review agency codes, prepare & refine site plans, conduct phone interviews, review technical documents, prepare written report
• Prepare and process land use applications, review staff reports, testify at public hearings
• Coordinate the acquisition of land surveys, traffic studies, environmental reports, and other studies
• Coordinate the processing and approval of construction permit applications
• Track deliverables using the company’s standard forms and procedures
• Prepare and administer contracts as necessary
