Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC in Tualatin, OR is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to lead civil engineering design on a mix of regional projects and coordinate with principals and multidisciplinary leads.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, 6+ years of design experience, a Washington PE license, and a proven ability to win business while delivering projects on time and within budget. Proficiency with MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in civil engineering design.
• Washington PE license holder.
• Proven ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities in Washington.
• Knowledge of local codes and agency standards; strong proposal/report writing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage all components of the project from proposal to construction support.
• Develop and manage project scope to deliver on time and within budget.
• Design, prepare, and lead development of preliminary and final plans and specifications.
• Perform site and infrastructure design per local standards; coordinate with jurisdiction staff.
• Identify, cultivate, and pursue new clients and opportunities; develop proposals.
• Provide QA/QC review of deliverables.
• Coordinate and manage projects with principals and staff; mentor junior engineers.
