Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC in the Pacific Northwest seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to lead land development design for commercial, industrial, residential, and public projects. You will act as Engineer of Record and mentor EITs in a collaborative team.

You bring 5–10 years of civil engineering experience, proficiency with Civil 3D, and a detail‑oriented, proactive mindset to deliver high‑quality work on schedule and on budget.

Qualifications

Licensed PE in Washington or Oregon or able to reciprocity quickly.
Civil engineer with 5–10 years of land development experience.
Proficient with Civil 3D or similar design tools.
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple active projects.
Effective written and verbal communicator.

Responsibilities

Serve as Engineer of Record on site development projects and stamp final deliverables.
Lead design of grading, stormwater, utilities, and roadway infrastructure.
Prepare technical drawings, reports, and permit submittals.
Coordinate with clients, agency reviewers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor and review the work of EITs and junior engineers.
Conduct occasional site visits and attend client meetings as needed.
