Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Land Development Project Manager in Florida to oversee the development of raw land for home construction.

The role involves coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely infrastructure installation, lot preparation, and landscaping across new communities. The position requires a Associate degree and 3 years of civil construction experience, with strong scheduling and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Three years of related experience with civil construction, landscaping, irrigation systems, and/or training hardscape installation and maintenance.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in scheduling software.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Review civil improvement plans, geotechnical evaluations, landscape plans and project specs to deliver finished lots for construction.
• Oversee development and scheduling of infrastructure installation and landscaping for projects.
• Meet with jurisdictional officials during installation, inspection and coordination of civil works.
• Track project milestones and report delays to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and internal teams to clarify plans and revisions.
