Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to oversee the development of raw land for home construction in new communities. You will coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and civil engineers to ensure timely delivery of finished lots for home builds.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, managing infrastructure installs, and communicating milestones to internal and external stakeholders. A valid driver’s license and proficiency with scheduling software are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent is required.
• Three years of related civil construction/land development experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office.
• Ability to read plans and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review civil improvement plans and project specs for land development.
• Oversee infrastructure installation and lot preparation timelines.
• Meet with officials during installation and inspections.
• Track milestones and report delays to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Assist in bid processes, contracts, and pay scales.
• Ensure compliance with codes and company policy.
