Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. seeks a Land Development Project Manager to lead the development of raw land for home construction and amenities. You will manage vendors and contractors, coordinate infrastructure installation, and ensure schedules meet milestones across multiple communities.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree with three years of civil construction experience, valid driver's license, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel may be required and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Three years of related experience with civil construction, landscaping, irrigation systems, and/or training hardscape installation and maintenance.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Review civil improvement plans, geotechnical evaluations, landscape plans and project specifications for finished lots.
• Oversee development and scheduling for infrastructure installation and landscaping.
• Meet with jurisdictional officials during installation and inspections of civil construction and parks.
• Track project schedule and milestones; identify and report delays.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on timing and design elements.
• Assist in bid processes and develop scopes of work and pay scales.
