Job summary

TYG is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Land Development team in Texas. You will work on residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, taking ownership from planning through construction while collaborating with clients, municipalities, and other consultants.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in civil engineering, knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, and strong communication skills. PE or progression toward PE is a plus, with a focus on long-term career growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Salary:** $70,000 - $120,000 (Location and experience dependent)

I’m working with a leading civil engineering firm that is looking to add a Civil Engineer to their Land Development team in Texas.

You’ll work closely with project managers, clients, municipalities, and other consultants while developing your technical skills and taking on increasing responsibility across projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development projects
• Prepare site layouts, grading and drainage plans, utility plans, and stormwater management designs
• Develop construction documents and technical specifications
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, municipalities, and other project consultants
• Assist with permitting and regulatory requirements
• Support projects through design, approval, and construction
• Work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to develop your technical and project management skills

What They're Looking For
